Renaissance St. Petersburg Baltic Hotel & Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Vasilievsky Hotel
The core mission of AmCham St. Petersburg is to promote favorable conditions for investment and trade in Northwest Russia by endorsing solutions to trade and investment issues that protect and benefit our members’ interests. AmCham St. Petersburg has become a key player in the local investment scene thanks in large part to the impressive work of our members. From a modest beginning of 11 member companies in 1997, we have grown to 175 today, encompassing practically all industry sectors. The total amount of our members’ investment into the economy of the Northwest Region of Russia exceeded $4.5 billion.
In pursuit of our strategic goals, we maintain excellent working relationships with regional, municipal and district level government officials in Northwest Russia, as well as with representatives of the U.S. government and other international organizations in the region. AmCham St. Petersburg works closely with AmCham's head office in Moscow, especially on federal issues. Our wide-ranging advocacy and policy work ensures that our members’ voices are heard by policymakers in Moscow and in Washington D.C. The Chamber has solid relationships with key policymakers in all branches of the Russian government, including the State Duma, the Federation Council, and the Presidential administration.
